Super Frank Lampard.
6 Games with Chelsea, 6 loses, not to mention his work with Everton!!! Surely that's the end of his management career, would he ever get another opportunity? Feel a bit sorry for him if im honest............LOL

Then we have this type of stuff that made me laugh.

I never understood the hatred of FL Jnr just because of his dad and uncle guiding his career

F*cking shit manager though. I wonder if he realises just how shit he is? Or do you reckon his dad, uncle and wife all still tell him how great he is and his luck will turn next time?

If your name and face fit, then you’ll be continually rewarded for failure. He’ll likely have another top flight job here or In a too euro league by the end of the year, or some mug in the US or the Middle East will throw a load of money at his name.

I dont think you understand west ham at all.

why do you think people would hate someone who constantly slagged off the club and said he wanted to score the goal that relegated us??

I don't think another PL club will touch him, same as Gerrard. Fancy he may get a decent club in the Championship, though.

This stint has been embarrassing for him.

Re: Super Frank Lampard.
His media mates are absolutely GUTTED about this. On TalkSport last night they were suggesting he walks out of Chelsea now for the sake of his career, suggesting that going the rest of the season without a win will permanently harm his future in management.

It's funny they can't admit he's absolute toilet.

Franks an educated and intelligent person.

The thing is with these young good player managers is that they spent a lot of time on their craft of being the best player that they can be. I watched Frank play against my brother from the age of 6 when he played for Heath Park and my brother was with him at west ham from 7 to 14.

He was a bang average normal kid footballer, at a good level, but wasn't stand out in the league at the youth levels and there were other players out there a lot better. They just didn't have an old man called Frank Lampard Senior.

However the hard graft he put in to become the player he did was through hard work and hard work and hard work.

This isn't a love in for him btw just saying.

If he wants to be a top level manager then go back to the roots like he did with his playing career and become a good number 2 for 4 or 5 years under a great or start off lower league and do it for the love and have time to build.

Taking the jobs he has for his first stints are crazy.

I was indifferent to Lampard when he was at Chelsea, but then he scored against us and was running towards the RB fans behind the goal. The camera came off him and when it went back he was celebrating in front of our fans. He must have done a U-turn and ran about 30. yards to get there. That's when I realised he was in fact a cunt

Frank was too fat

Saw him referred to as Frank L-L-L-L-L-Lampard in a paper earlier today, gave me a chuckle

Often great players don’t understand that other players are not as good or aren’t easily as motivated as they were.

So they have all the ideas in their head but can’t understand why others can’t do what they need them to do.

That’s why management isn’t not just about tactics but the human ability to motivate others. The best coaches and managers are supreme motivation experts really.

That’s why so many former pro’s fail. Maybe the thing that made them top players ends up making them bad managers. Individual doggedness etc. doesn’t help to manage people.

Reminds me of that great story about Hoddle as England manager (although I thought he was decent to be fair) in training when he was telling Ince (I think) what he wanted him to do. ‘Here- do this.’ And floated a perfect 40 yard ball through the air with backspin on it which landed perfectly in front of a running player and Ince just turned to him and said ‘but boss- I just CAN’T do that.’

Good playing career and the ego and vompliments gets addictive.

Needs to start lower and get the foundation in. Even starting at Derby was too big for him. Understandably .

Martin O'Neil apparently rated coach ev3n before he retired from playing. Started at Wycombe.

That's what BFF. GERRARD AND ROONEY SHOULDVE DONE

I understand perfectly thanks but I think you deliberately misunderstand what I actually said and meant about the jeers he got when he was a kid coming through. He was resented because of Frank snr and Uncle 'arry family connections plus his private education.

He might have been a failure as a manager but he could certainly play and idiots with your attitude helped drive him away. Like Rice today, his ambitions were beyond what WH could provide for him were probably the prime motive for wanting away but getting jeered and called "FAT" by your own fans didn't help.

Re: Super Frank Lampard.
He was never hated while he was a player for us. When he was a teenager some people thought he wasn't good enough and was only being given a chance that young because of family connections, but that's not the same as being hated. The fans didn't drive him away. His Dad and Uncle getting sacked did that.

Re: Super Frank Lampard.
Will you're just underlining how little you know about west ham and how little you understand the fan base.

he was never jeered while playing for us, the story he tells about ppl cheering when he broke his leg at villa is bollocks.

his performances and place in the side came under question but that was all - same as any other player.
